Job Summary
As a Litigation Calendaring Assistant, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our litigation team, ensuring seamless calendar management, and coordinating various tasks and activities. This is a full-time, remote opportunity with a competitive salary range of $22.00/hour - $32.00/hour. Key Responsibilities
- Generate daily/weekly reports with results for all assigned tasks, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
- Prepare and send documents for filing through attorney service, tracking service of process, and managing deadlines.
- Manage team calendars, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and depositions.
- Calendar mail and coordinate with team members to ensure efficient communication.
- Prepare and respond to various discovery notices, including depositions, defense medical examinations, and inspection demands.
- Coordinate depositions and expert depositions with defense counsel, ensuring smooth execution.
- Coordinate nurse observers and court reporters/videographers for DMEs, depositions, and trials.
- Maintain strict compliance with the schedule of assigned appointments, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Utilize our firm's software (training provided) for data entry of new clients and case management.
- Scan and save documentation needed for cases into our firm's system, ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year university.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, attorneys, and external parties.
- Proficiency in Internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a litigation or administrative role, preferably in a law firm or related field.
- Familiarity with case management software and technology.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
