Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced 21st Century Grant On-Site Coordinator to oversee the implementation of our Noble Explorers program at Noble Elementary School. As the Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the after-school program, recruiting students, and ensuring compliance with federal guidelines. You will work closely with teachers, parents, administrators, and students to provide academic support, supervision, and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Coordination: Coordinate the after-school program, including scheduling, staffing, and logistics.
- Student Recruitment: Recruit students for the program and ensure participation in program activities.
- Communication: Communicate with teachers, parents, administrators, and students to ensure program effectiveness and address concerns.
- Academic Support: Assist students with homework, provide academic support, and facilitate enrichment activities.
- Supervision: Supervise students during program activities and ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Grant Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal guidelines and regulations, including reporting and record-keeping.
- Community Engagement: Engage with the community to promote the program and build partnerships.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in education, social work, or a related field.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer programs, such as Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and school-based management programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Experience: Previous experience working in education, after-school programs, or a related field.
- School-Building Experience: Experience working in a school building, preferably in an after-school program.
- Tutoring Experience: Experience working with students in tutoring or after-school programs.
- Camp Counseling Experience: Experience working as a camp counselor or in a similar role.
