As a Manufacturing Planner Associate, you will be part of a talented team that drives the production planning and control processes for these critical programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee one or more elements of program planning for Fire Control or Tact programs, including releasing purchase orders to Supply Chain Management for materials needed for the program.
  • Monitor engineering changes and create/update bills of material to ensure seamless production planning.
  • Scheduling and integrity of the MRP system for all assigned assemblies, ensuring accurate and timely production planning.
  • Status and reporting of manufacturing build, identifying and resolving kit issues and hardware needs to support manufacturing build.
  • Effective factory implementation and cut-in of engineering and process changes, working closely with manufacturing supervision and industrial engineering team members.
  • Prioritize workflow in partnership with manufacturing supervision and industrial engineering team members to ensure efficient production planning.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • Completed bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related major. Equivalent professional level experience/combined education in supply chain/logistics may be considered.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

The following preferred qualifications will be considered advantageous:

  • Degree from an accredited college in supply chain management, operations management, or a related field.
  • Past experience with Buy Planning, Manufacturing, and/or Make Planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, and a represented workforce or business.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).
  • Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
  • Ability to obtain Green Belt certification.
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists.
  • ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification.

The annual base salary range for this position is $45,200 - $86,600, depending on location and experience.
