Sr. Adjuster Commercial P and C Claims
                                CopperPoint has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Adjuster Commercial P&C Claims. In this role, you will take ownership of complex, high-exposure casualty claims that require sharp technical expertise and sound judgment. From catastrophic auto accidents to intricate construction disputes, you will be trusted to handle our most significant and challenging claims. As a senior member of the team, you won’t just manage files—you will shape outcomes, safeguard our insureds, and strengthen CopperPoint’s reputation as a carrier that earns loyalty through unmatched expertise and exceptional service.
Job Responsibilities:
• Proactively handle a manageable inventory of mid-to-high-severity commercial automobile, general liability, and products liability claims.
• Evaluate coverage, identify potential issues, and prepare coverage letters for supervisor review.
• Investigate liability and damages, determine case value, and set reserves.
• Manage claims activities in Guidewire Claims Center.
• Provide prompt and professional responses to client and broker requests.
• Assess damages, negotiate settlements, and represent the company at mediations as needed.
• Communicate concerning risks and trends to internal business units.
• Direct and manage outside counsel, experts, and vendors, including review of invoices for accuracy.
• Mentor less-experienced adjusters and support staff.
• Participate in adjuster training, continuing education, and team roundtables.
Qualifications/Competencies:
• High school diploma required. College degree and/or insurance designations strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of experience adjusting auto liability and general liability claims is preferred, but candidates with strong large-loss or specialized casualty experience may be considered.
• Extensive experience handling litigated claims.
• Commercial casualty experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with construction and trucking claims is preferred.
• Guidewire experience is helpful but not required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 products.
Salary Range:
• $68,000.00 - $104,000.00 annually
• Compensation may vary dependent on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
• In addition to base salary, compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus.

• Employees will accrue 0.0769 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per paid hour, which may total 20 days a year. In addition, employees will also receive 10 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
