Job Overview: Part Time HR Generalist - Remote

We're on the lookout for a highly skilled and versatile Part Time HR Generalist to join our remote team. As a key player in our HR department, you'll be responsible for a wide range of HR-related tasks, from recruitment and employee relations to policy development and compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Development and Implementation: Participate in the development of organizational guidelines and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practices and legal standards.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in HR principles and practices.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an HR Coordinator or in a similar HR role, showcasing your ability to handle a variety of HR tasks and responsibilities.
  • A deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations, ensuring you can navigate the complexities of HR compliance.
  • Excellent HR administration and people management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective interactions with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies as needed.
  • Strong organizational and conflict management skills, with a proven ability to manage gray areas and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of work quality.

Preferred Qualifications
