Job Overview

We are excited to announce a full-time, remote opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA at AnswersNow, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional 1:1 therapy and parent training, working closely with a caseload of 8-9 families/clients to implement clinical programming, provide remote caregiver support and training, and conduct remote assessments and functional behavioral analyses. You will be part of a collaborative remote team environment, with access to ongoing training, support from clinical leadership, and a commitment to clinical quality and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement clinical programming according to the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to increase socially significant behaviors and decrease maladaptive behaviors for clients
  • Provide remote caregiver support and training to parents and other caregivers
  • Provide remote direct therapy to clients
  • Complete required clinical documentation and review client records to ensure quality assurance
  • Conduct remote assessments and develop an individualized treatment plan
  • Conduct remote functional behavioral assessments and risk assessments
  • Work with families to identify and evaluate barriers to effective care; collaborate with caregivers and clients (where feasible) to develop solutions to these barriers
  • Engage in coordination of care activities with relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Remote Care Delivery Team to ensure client needs are met

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a currently licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst with flexible availability to accommodate family scheduling needs, including weekday evening availability and weekend availability. You must also adhere to the BACB ethical guidelines and any relevant state licensure guidelines, and reside in the contiguous United States. Additionally, you should possess tech-savvy skills, including proficiency with video conferencing software, scheduling, and messaging apps.

Preferred Skills and Experience

While not required, we prefer candidates who are comfortable with digital tools and platforms, and able to use them effectively to communicate with clients and colleagues. A reliable internet connection and a private, HIPAA-compliant professional workspace are also essential. Experience with Google Suite, as well as familiarity with various assessment tools, including VB-MAPP, Ables, and Vineland, are highly desirable. Effective communication skills, the ability to lead consecutive hour-long sessions with clients and families, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support are also essential for success in this role.

Job Type and Schedule

This is a full-time, W-2 employee position, with a 5-day work week (Monday - Friday, with the option to substitute Saturday or Sunday for a weekday to provide flexibility and meet client needs). You must be available to work 40 total hours per week, with a minimum of 27 billable hours per week, and be available to work 4 pm - 9 pm Eastern daily. Actual hours will vary depending on client needs.
