Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service via inbound phone calls, chat, and email to customers of Fortune 500 companies
  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and address concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize computer applications and software to manage customer interactions, track issues, and document customer information
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and provide feedback to improve customer service processes
  • Work collaboratively with other remote contractors and Omni Interactions team members to achieve shared goals and objectives

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers via phone, chat, and email
  • Proven Customer Service Experience: Have a strong background in customer service, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding customer care
  • Attention to Detail: Possess keen attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask
  • Technical Proficiency: Be proficient in using technology, including computer applications and software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Experience with Fortune 500 Companies: Have previous experience working with Fortune 500 companies or providing customer service support to large customer bases
  • Experience with Chat and Email Support: Have experience providing support via chat and email, in addition to inbound phone calls
  • Certifications or Training: Hold certifications or have completed training programs in customer service, sales, or a related field

Technology and Equipment Requirements

To ensure seamless connectivity and high-quality customer interactions, you'll need to meet the following technology and equipment requirements:

  • Quiet and Secure Work Environment: Work in a quiet, secure environment during working hours, free from distractions and interruptions
  • Personal Computer: Use a personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted)
  • Wired USB Headset: Use a wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication
  • High-Speed Internet: Have high-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed
  • Operating System: Use Windows 10 or Windows 11 (some clients may accept AppleOS)
  • Antivirus Software: Install valid and up-to-date antivirus software
  • Smartphone and Authentication App: Use a smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad, along with an authentication app

Work Environment Requirements

To ensure a productive and efficient work environment, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

  • Quiet and Uninterrupted Space: Work in a quiet, uninterrupted space, free from distractions and interruptions
  • Organized Desk Area: Maintain an organized desk area, with necessary equipment and materials within easy reach

Contractual Relationship

As a remote contractor with Omni Interactions, you'll be an independent contractor, responsible for your own work schedule and performance. You'll remain an independent contractor for the duration of your program assignment, and Omni Interactions will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings. You'll be asked to agree to have no claim against Omni Interactions for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.

Contractors must also successfully pass a criminal background check.
