Job Summary
blithequark's Caremark Member Operations division is hiring hundreds of Customer Care Representatives to join our team. As a Customer Care Representative, you will have the opportunity to work from home, balance your priorities, and deliver heart-driven service to our millions of plan members. You will be assisting members with their pharmacy benefit plans, taking inbound calls, and answering questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions. You will receive comprehensive training to upskill you to assist with client and member inquiries as business needs arise, and you will have the opportunity to learn more about healthcare while expanding your own experiences and opening doors to additional opportunities within blithequark.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist members with their pharmacy benefit plans, providing clear and concise information about their coverage and options
- Take inbound calls and answer questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions
- Service a variety of clients and call types, including Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and specific clients
- Receive comprehensive training to upskill you to assist with client and member inquiries as business needs arise
- Offer solutions to help simplify our members' healthcare experience, demonstrating a genuine concern for improving their quality of life
- Exhibit patience, empathy, and confidence in all interactions with members, providing courteous and professional telephone etiquette
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of experience interacting with customers (i.e., call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, and/or military experience)
- Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications
- To reside in Tennessee and be within 150 miles of Nashville
- A high school diploma or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- An associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to problem-solve in a positive, productive manner
- Comfortable relating to customers in a patient, helpful way that demonstrates a genuine concern for improving the customer quality of life
- Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards
- Ability to exhibit patience and empathy and express assurance and confidence
- Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism
- Strong oral, interpersonal, and communication skills
- At least 6 months of healthcare experience
