As a Member Services Representative, you will be responsible for a range of duties related to payment processing, account management, and customer support. Key Responsibilities

  • Complete data entry and balancing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Coordinate return items with members, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
  • Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and related accounting tasks
  • Work on member cases and projects assigned by the team lead or manager
  • Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and federal banking laws
  • Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other types of checks
  • Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
  • Log, report, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
  • Process Stop Pays and Check Batching
  • Complete daily balancing and department closing tasks
  • Obtain information from members for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests
  • Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information
  • Communicate with vendors to process fund transfers
  • Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws and regulations

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or GED, as well as intermediate Excel and Word skills. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities, and providing excellent customer service to our members.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous customer service or member service experience is highly desirable, as is experience working in a banking or credit union environment. Familiarity with Episys/Symitar and processing wires is also an asset.
