About the Position
As a Data Entry Operator at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. You will be responsible for preparing, compiling, and sorting documents for data entry, as well as checking source documents for accuracy and verifying data for errors. Your strong typing skills and attention to detail will be essential in this role, as you will be entering data from source documents into our prescribed database, files, and computer forms. You will also be responsible for transcribing information into the required electronic format, scanning documents into our document management systems or databases, and checking the accuracy of your work.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry and northern customs
 - Check source documents for accuracy and verify data for errors
 - Obtain additional information for incomplete documents and update data as necessary
 - Delete unnecessary files and combine and reorder source document data where necessary
 - Enter data from source documents into our prescribed database, files, and computer forms
 - Transcribe information into the required electronic format
 - Scan documents into our document management systems or databases
 - Check the accuracy of your work and store completed documents in designated locations
 - Respond to requests for information and access relevant files as needed
 - Print information when required
 
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a range of skills and qualifications, including:
- Ability to write quickly and accurately, with few spelling mistakes and errors
 - Good command of English (both oral and written)
 - Ability to spell well and pay attention to detail
 - Ability to work alone and stay focused on tasks
 - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
 - Working knowledge of basic office equipment and computer hardware
 - Working knowledge of email and telephone communication
