**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and processing calls regarding customers' insurance policies. You'll assist with policy coverage, billing, and modifications, providing empathetic and solution-focused support to our customers. With a focus on delivering exceptional service, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, building trust and loyalty through every interaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Receive and review customer calls regarding insurance policies, providing empathetic and solution-focused support
* Assist with policy coverage, billing, and modifications, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of customer issues
* Utilize computer systems and data systems to search for answers and information, providing accurate and up-to-date information to customers
* Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex situations with limited information
* Utilize questioning and deductive reasoning skills to gather information and provide solutions to customers
* Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service or a related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and provide effective solutions
