About the Role: Customer Service Representative - Retirement Plans
This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative specializing in Retirement Plans. Working remotely, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service and support to our retirement plan participants. Your expertise and knowledge will play a crucial role in educating participants about their distribution, rollover, and consolidation options, assisting them in accessing their accounts online, and resolving any requests or issues they may have.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professional Communication: Answer all inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that participants feel supported and valued.
 - Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our retirement plan products and services, including distribution, rollover, and consolidation options.
 - Participant Education: Educate retirement plan participants on available options and assist them throughout each process, ensuring they are well-informed and empowered to make the best decisions for their financial futures.
 - Issue Resolution: Assist participants in resolving any issues or requests they may have, including accessing their accounts online and understanding online functionality such as enrollment, transfers, loans, and withdrawals.
 - Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining an exceptional level of service.
 - Regulatory Compliance: Protect assets by adhering to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and established risk guidelines.
 - Team Collaboration: Consult with the Client Service and Admin Service teams to provide assistance as volumes dictate, and participate in discussions and committees to improve procedures and resolve problems within teams and across the department.
 
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred.
 - Experience: 1-2 years of customer service experience, with previous contact center experience required. Experience in Retirement Plans is highly desirable.
 - Communication Skills: Proficient written and oral communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while working within required deadlines.
 - Customer Focus: Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong customer focus and the ability to assume ownership and work within a team environment.
 - Adaptability: A high level of curiosity and a willingness to learn new methods and procedures.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Knowledge of ERISA, IRS/DOL regulations, and qualified plan administration.
 - Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
 - ASPPA exams or equivalents.
 - Knowledge of OMNI, Relius, and recordkeeping systems.
 - Bilingual in Spanish and English.
