About the Role: Senior Manager, Talent and Succession

The PayPal Marketing Technology team is seeking a talented and seasoned Senior Manager, Talent and Succession, to join their team. As a key member of the Talent and Succession team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of PayPal's global workforce. You will be responsible for developing and implementing talent management strategies that drive business growth, foster a culture of innovation and inclusion, and ensure the company has the right leadership and talent in place to achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent management strategies that align with PayPal's business objectives and drive growth.
  • Lead the design and delivery of succession planning programs that identify, develop, and retain future leaders.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify talent gaps and develop targeted plans to address them.
  • Design and implement talent development programs that drive employee engagement, retention, and growth.
  • Analyze talent data and metrics to inform business decisions and drive talent management strategies.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion and diversity, ensuring that PayPal's talent management practices are equitable and unbiased.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of PayPal's business and talent needs, staying ahead of the curve on industry trends and best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in talent management, succession planning, or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of talent management principles, practices, and strategies.
  • Experience with succession planning, talent development, and talent acquisition.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner with business leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in talent management and succession planning.
  • Certification in a relevant field, such as SHRM or HRCI.
  • Experience with talent management systems and tools.
