About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to work from home in Nevada, within 75 miles of our Specialty location at 7251 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119. As a Pharmacy Service Representative, you'll be responsible for coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, ensuring seamless interactions with patients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide telephone support to patients receiving specialty drug therapy, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and revivifying benefits, and ensuring compliance with financial and clinical expectations.
- Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicating and collecting copay amounts, and obtaining authorizations as needed.
- Work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.
- Utilize superb communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners, ensuring the timely processing of specialty medications.
Essential Qualifications
- One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone.
- One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
- One year of computer keyboarding experience, with demonstrated skills and aptitude.
- Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare work experience, with familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.

Training and Schedule
Our training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this role. The training duration is 4 weeks, with a schedule of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST. Post-training, your schedule will be 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM PST. Please note that there will be a PTO blackout period during training.
