Job Summary
The TPR Market EMR Coach will function as a clinical application expert, primarily responsible for training TPR office staff to efficiently use clinical applications, including but not limited to Athena, Dragon, Medi-Mobile, and Collector. This role requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including clinical informatics, adult learning principles, and technical support. The successful candidate will proactively provide "at the elbow" support to clinic staff, ensure consistent and effective use of clinical applications, and collaborate with the Market Clinical Informatics Manager to improve physician and clinicians' satisfaction with clinical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite onboarding and training of physicians and support staff in outpatient offices on various clinical applications, including Athena, Patient Portal, Phreesia, MediMobile, Dragon dictation, and Virtual Visits.
- Assist with systems implementation, including analysis, design, configuration, testing, and support activities.
- Review and share new system release items with critical stakeholders, test and ensure features are compliant with Tenet policies.
- Provide recommendations on requests related to EHR workflows and functionality onsite weekly.
- Assist with custom template development, scheduling templates, EPCS setup, HIE request, TAO, and practice role request.
- Proactively schedule on-site clinic visits to assess adoption and efficient use of clinical systems and address issues brought forth from clinic staff.
- Create and submit visit reports to leadership, monitoring end-user reports to assess trends and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency.
- Enter/Process TenetOne tickets, including patient merge, training request offboards, and new hire CSS orientation.
- Create/Review educational materials on a regular cadence to support ongoing training and development.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in ambulatory clinical settings, such as physician clinics or other outpatient settings.
- Minimum of one year of prior experience in the use of and/or implementation of clinical information systems.
- Athena experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to develop, maintain, and collaborate with clinicians, demonstrating strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Understanding of clinical workflow and the skill set to integrate technology into clinical practice.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills required, serving as a model of credibility, professionalism, and customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other clinical applications.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and experience with training and education in a clinical setting.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with clinical information systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $23.00 - $36.40 hourly, depending on location, qualifications, and experience.
