We are currently hiring for Senior Software Engineers to join our Pricing & Booking Settings team. This team is responsible for empowering Airbnb hosts to better run their businesses by providing the tools and education needed to implement pricing strategies that adapt to their evolving goals. As a full-stack team, we build host pricing products from end to end, and our work directly contributes to the company's success.

The Difference You Will Make

As a Senior Software Engineer on our Pricing & Booking team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with Product and Design teams to align on product requirements and drive the development of new features
• Leading the scoping phase, technical requirements, and implementation of new functionalities
• Building efficient and reusable backend components with high quality, while maintaining performance and scalable systems
• Mentoring and supporting other engineers in the team or related teams to help them grow and develop their skills
• Driving alignment, managing projects, and effectively collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

Your Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 6+ years of industry experience in software engineering, with a focus on building and scaling high-quality and high-traffic products or systems
• A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in evaluating technical approaches and designing product solutions to solve real-world problems
• Ability to drive alignment, manage projects, and effectively collaborate with stakeholders
• Mentorship experience, with a passion for helping junior developers grow and develop their skills

Your Location

This position is US-Remote Eligible, which means you can work from anywhere in the United States. However, please note that you must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity. While the position is remote, you may be required to attend occasional meetings at an Airbnb office or offsite, as agreed upon with your manager.
