About the Position

As the Senior Vice President, Teaching and Learning, you will be at the helm of spearheading the comprehensive K-12 academic vision across all 27 regions. Your role involves overseeing the Teaching and Learning Team and ensuring student learning outcomes across our network. Reporting directly to the Chief of Schools, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to drive academic excellence and student achievement. Key Responsibilities and Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Vision Setting: Crafting the K-12 instructional vision for all schools, driving regional curriculum and instructional initiatives, and identifying opportunities for enhancing instructional practices through data-driven insights.
  • Teaching and Learning: Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment - Overseeing curriculum implementation across all content areas and grade bands, managing curriculum experts to support curriculum development and professional growth, and driving the implementation of a cohesive K-12 assessment strategy.
  • Team Management: Leading the Teaching and Learning Team, overseeing hiring and promotion decisions, managing directors responsible for literacy, STEM, and diverse learners, and collaborating with regional leaders to coordinate instructional vision implementation.
  • Professional Development: Providing strategic coaching and support to regional academic leaders, designing and implementing national professional development initiatives for teachers and leaders, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Minimum 10 years of teaching and professional development experience.
  • Extensive experience in team management and leadership.
  • Prior experience in network-wide academic roles is preferred.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $240,000-$283,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including:
