As a blithequark employee, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills, work with a talented team, and contribute to the success of our organization. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including: * **Settling customer shipments and preparing monthly claims**: You will work closely with our operations team to ensure that customer shipments are accurately settled and that monthly claims are prepared and submitted on time. * **Creating invoices and bills in QuickBooks**: You will use your knowledge of QuickBooks to create invoices and bills for our customers, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date. * **Generating and emailing customer settlement reports**: You will generate and email customer settlement reports to our customers, providing them with accurate and timely information about their shipments and financial transactions. * **Verifying customer logs**: You will review and verify customer logs to ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date. * **Maintaining filing systems electronically and in paper**: You will maintain our electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring that all documents and records are accurately stored and easily accessible. * **Communicating with customers and operation groups**: You will communicate with customers and operation groups regarding any shipment report discrepancies or other issues that may arise. * **Assisting with other administrative tasks**: You will assist with other administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, greeting visitors, preparing payroll times, and performing other office-related assignments. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: * **High school diploma with some college education and/or 1+ years of office work experience**: We prefer candidates with some college education and/or 1+ years of office work experience, but we will consider candidates with a high school diploma and relevant skills and experience. * **Good oral and written communication skills**: You will need to be able to communicate effectively with customers, operation groups, and other team members. * **Working knowledge of QuickBooks**: While not required, experience with QuickBooks is a plus. * **Ability to work independently and as a team member**: You will need to be able to work independently and as a team member, depending on the needs of the team and the organization. * **Organizational and attention to detail**: You will need to be highly organized and able to pay attention to detail, as you will be working with financial transactions and customer information. * **Ability to multitask and prioritize projects**: You will need to be able to multitask and prioritize projects to meet deadlines and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and on time. **Compensation and Benefits** As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you can expect to receive: * **Competitive hourly rate**: $35-40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. * **Steady full-time/part-time work**: We offer steady full-time and part-time work, depending on the needs of the organization. * **Health, dental, and other insurance**: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and other insurance. * **Paid sick, vacation, and holidays**: You will receive paid sick, vacation, and holiday time, allowing you to take breaks and recharge. * **Retirement plans**: We offer retirement plans to help you plan for your future. **Why Join blithequark?** At blithequark, we value our employees and strive to create a work environment that is both challenging and rewarding.
