You will also help our patients with translating and entering in new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicating and collecting copay amounts, obtaining authorizations, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and/or internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues. **Responsibilities** * Provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy * Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits * Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system * Communicate and collect copay amounts from patients * Obtain authorizations from insurance companies and healthcare providers * Work with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues * Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners * Ensure the processing of specialty medications in a timely manner and meet financial and clinical expectations prior to fulfillment **Requirements** * One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications * One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude * Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications** * Pre-employment experience in the healthcare industry and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills **Training and Development** * 4-week training program (PTO blackout time) * Training schedules: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST * Post-training schedule: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM PST **Benefits and Compensation** * Competitive pay range: $17.00 - $28.45 per hour * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits * 401(k) retirement savings plan and Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Fully-paid term life insurance plan and short-term and long-term disability benefits * Paid Time Off (PTO) or vacation pay, as well as paid holidays throughout the calendar year * CVS store discount and discount programs with participating partners * Free development courses and education assistance **How to Apply** Our application process is simple and straightforward: 1.
