About the Role
As a Sales and Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing support and solutions across various channels, including phone, email, chat, and social media. You'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This role requires a customer-centric approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Primary Accountabilities
- Respond to customer interactions regarding billing, policy coverage, and policy changes across multiple channels.
- Accept ownership of customer requests and provide timely, effective solutions to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Empowered to make exception decisions, reviewing situations to ensure decisions are appropriate for both the customer and the organization.
- Assist with peer development through knowledge sharing and information exchange.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations for change.
- Participate in scheduled training classes and development opportunities to expand customer service skills.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions or support in a customer service environment.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts, such as arithmetic, averaging, and percentages.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role, either in a contact center or face-to-face environment.
- Ability to guide customers to resolution and provide effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your candidacy:
- Previous experience in the insurance industry.
- Property and casualty producer licenses (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Licensing Requirements
If you're unlicensed, you'll need to provide proof of successful completion of the AD Banker On-Line Pre-Licensing Course for your resident state prior to your start date. Additionally, you'll be required to obtain property and casualty producer licenses for all operating and/or service states within 60 days of hire and maintain current, active license(s) status through continuing education.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- Hourly compensation range: $23.00 - $30.76.
