About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Processor - Property & Casualty Policy Management Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote-based position offers the flexibility of working from anywhere, with the option of a hybrid schedule from our Glendale, AZ office or a fully remote MST schedule. As a Commercial Insurance Processor, you will play a vital role in supporting our Marketing Specialists and Account Managers in the daily management of Property & Casualty policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Correspondence Management: Pull policy correspondence reports from carrier websites and manage carrier e-mail delivery of similar reports.
  • Agency Management System: Utilize our agency management system to provide quality control checks on new business/renewal policies, endorsements, audits, and other account management activities.
  • Policy Correspondence Delivery: Execute policy correspondence delivery to clients per agency guidelines and procedures.
  • Communication and Input: Input and communicate appropriately notice of cancellations, non-renewals, and other policy-related updates.
  • Office Operations: Operate a variety of standard office machines, including personal computers with various software, phone, fax, calculator, and shredding, photocopy, and mail machines.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the general public.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school graduate or general education degree (GED) is required, with a college degree preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people, including clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Applied/EPIC, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Flexibility: Willingness and flexibility to adjust to varying schedules, including potential overtime as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • P&C License: A Property and Casualty insurance license is preferred.
  • Insurance Industry Experience: Working knowledge of the insurance industry is desired.
