About the Role

As a Field Service and Assembly Technician, you will play a vital role in driving our success by building and assembling battery boosters, providing top-notch service to our clients, and ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Build and assemble battery boosters to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Drive to customer locations to replace or repair boosting units, primarily in the Olympia to north Seattle area, with occasional trips to Oregon
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including 12 Volt DC and 120 Volt AC systems, in a safe and efficient manner
  • Work effectively in an individual or team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals
  • Accurately document work and findings on service reports, entering data into our computer system for efficient record-keeping
  • Communicate with customers, scheduling service appointments and providing exceptional customer service
  • Sell units to new customers, promoting our products and services to drive business growth

Physical Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must be physically able to:

  • Frequently walk, stand, bend, climb, balance, reach, stretch, and stoop
  • Occasionally push, pull, kneel, and crawl
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. and infrequent lifting of up to 75 lbs.
  • Drive vehicles safely in tight car dealership lots
  • Read and understand service manuals and diagrams in paper or electronic format
  • Wear personal protective equipment throughout the workday
  • Use vehicle navigation systems safely and efficiently

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Availability for occasional evening or weekend work and out-of-town travel (typically 2 days or less)
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
