The Customer Service Associate Role: A Critical Touchpoint for Customer Satisfaction

As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll be the first human touchpoint for our customers, playing a vital role in shaping their experience with our brand. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional service, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a customer-first mindset.   • Respond to a high volume of phone calls, emails, and chat messages daily, ensuring prompt, accurate, and courteous interactions with customers.
  • Track orders efficiently and accurately, providing timely updates to customers.
  • Identify and capitalize on cross-sell opportunities presented during order calls or email requests, enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business growth.
  • Resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally, adhering to company guidelines while promoting customer loyalty.
  • Assist with order verification, handling damaged or lost package claims, and facilitating reshipments as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements: The Ideal Candidate Profile

To excel as a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll need to meet the following qualifications and requirements:

  • A dedicated office or workspace with a computer, 2 monitors, keyboard, mouse, and headset, ensuring a productive and distraction-free environment.
  • Availability to work 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, with flexibility to work overtime hours and weekends during peak holiday seasons.
  • At least 6 months of experience working remotely, with a proven track record of productivity and self-motivation.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, providing support through email, calls, chat, and social media platforms.
  • 1 year of experience working with Zendesk or a similar customer service ticketing system, with strong computer skills and data-entry/keyboard proficiency.
  • Familiarity with metrics such as handle time, quality assurance, and other performance indicators, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with bi-lingual proficiency considered a plus.
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicts quickly and professionally, maintaining a customer-first mindset.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily tasks.
  • A high school degree, GED, or equivalent work experience, with a strong foundation in customer service principles.
