About blithequark and the Role

blithequark's Publicizing Deals portfolio is a powerhouse of world-driving brands, covering a vast array of iconic IPs, entertainment networks, and renowned real brands. As a key member of our Milan-based Italian promotion deals and tasks association, you'll play a vital role in supporting our advertising outreach group and driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and top-tier sales and partner support.

As a Digital Operations Client Services Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a team to design and execute the operational components of our advertising campaigns, from pre-sales guidance and media planning to campaign setup, analysis, optimization, reporting, and invoicing. With a particular focus on video advertising and our flagship product, Disney+, as well as additional digital resources, you'll ensure that our clients receive exceptional service and support to unlock the full potential of our brands and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead 1 Digital Operations Client Services manager in supporting assigned sales reps and related clients through all phases of the campaign lifecycle, from planning to invoicing
  • Deliver successful media campaigns that maximize revenue and drive operational efficiency
  • Assign team tasks while contributing to and supporting campaign management, including stock forecasting, media plan creation, order entry, trafficking, optimization, reporting, and invoicing
  • Ensure the Record Administrator is fully trained on campaign execution and able to address all related queries
  • Act as the central point of contact for escalations on complex issues or requests regarding inventory, ad products, or campaigns
  • Support Sales, Finance, and Accounting in revenue tracking and provide insights on ad delivery, ad quality, and technical issues
  • Test potential ad tech vendor integrations and provide input on contract negotiations
  • Ideate, execute, review, and optimize operational processes that drive quality and efficiency
  • Analyze utilization and execution of digital inventory to develop strategies and tactics that maximize revenue yield
  • Manage, mentor, and develop talent, including training future recruits
  • Create and update internal documentation to clarify processes and best practices
  • Collaborate with regional teams and act as a local center of excellence for other offices across EMEA
  • Maintain a strong understanding of blithequark's ad tech stack and strategy, and stay up-to-date with industry developments

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A graduate-level education or comparable experience
  • 3+ years of overall experience in the advertising industry, either on the publisher/agency side or in ad tech
  • Team management experience and a proven track record of campaign planning and execution for a wide range of clients
  • Expertise in defining and optimizing processes, with a deep understanding of digital media and the advertising industry
  • Proficiency in campaign management systems, ad server systems, and creative labeling and tracking to support and lead the assigned team
  • A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to assess, evaluate, and plan based on results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the team internally and externally

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:

  • Media or entertainment brand experience
  • Knowledge of the processes and methodologies of a global corporation
  • Essential skills in campaign management systems, ad server systems, and creative labeling and tracking
  • Experience with Immense activation for digital campaigns and related requirements
