Key Responsibilities
• Lead the project management of high-value initiatives across the RES division, including coordinating assignments from project inception to planning, execution, and closure
• Develop and maintain project artifacts, including project contracts, project plans, risk and issue logs, and project dashboards
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects of varying priority and complexity, across different teams or stakeholders
• Assist in driving the development of the association's culture at the functional level, ensuring strong alignment with partners across the broader enterprise
• Foster communication strategies and implement processes, activities, and projects that result in timely dispersal of information and communication consistency, increasing awareness of project expectations, change management, and impact
• Support the development of business cases, prioritization, and overall divisional portfolio management
• Establish and maintain effective relationships and feedback loops between leaders, functional stakeholders, and cross-divisional Delta teams
• Support the growth and development of the RES PMO capability and the establishment of a Center of Excellence for strategic portfolio management
Essential Qualifications
• Phenomenal planning, organization, and creative problem-solving skills
• Proven ability and a demonstrated history of success in managing and delivering multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity
• Unrivaled communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across the organization and build and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders and senior management
• Ability to lead and work independently and within a team
• Proficiency in written and oral communications, with the ability to deliver concise documents for executive presentations
• Must perform satisfactorily in their current position
• Models Delta's Principles of the Street, guiding principles, and safety-conscious behaviors
• Where allowed by relevant law, you have received or will receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based work, while potentially not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
• Consistently prioritizes the safety and security of self, others, and personal information
• Embracing diverse individuals, thinking, and styles
• Has a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
• Is at least 18 years old and has authorization to work in the US
Preferred Qualifications
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or experience managing projects according to Project Management Institute (PMI) standards
• Experience with PowerApps, SharePoint, and project management software is highly desired
• Enjoys working in a high-profile environment with fluid needs, ambiguity, and aggressive timelines
