About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven and customer-focused Life Science Sales Specialist to join our team. As a technical sales expert, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our life science products and services to customers, providing technical support, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and retention. This is a full-time, remote position covering the East of England, requiring regular travel to customer sites within the assigned territory. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth, expand customer relationships, and increase revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, including researchers, scientists, and laboratory professionals
- Provide technical support, product demonstrations, and training to customers, ensuring they maximize the benefits of our products and services
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, providing feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams
- Organize and participate in customer site events, such as seminars, workshops, and user days, to promote our products and services
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance using our CRM system

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A PhD or Master's degree in a life science discipline, such as Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Neurosciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, Immunology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biology, Structural Biology, Proteomics, Agricultural Sciences, or Agronomy
- Proven sales experience within the laboratory environment, preferably in a technical sales role
- Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with CRM systems
- A full, clean UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in genomics, genotyping, imaging, microscopy, cell culture, cell engineering, flow cytometry, protein purification, or sequencing
