About the Role: Pharmacy Service Representative
We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacy Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team. As a key member of our team, you'll provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying benefits, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and revivifying benefits as needed.
- Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve issues, obtain authorizations, and collect copay amounts.
- Screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues, working closely with internal partners to ensure timely resolution.
- Demonstrate superb communication skills, interacting effectively with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners to ensure the processing of specialty medications in a timely manner.
- Provide compassionate and genuine care to patients and customers, ensuring that financial and clinical expectations are met prior to fulfillment.
Essential Qualifications:

Schedule:
