Position Requirements & Details

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Licensure: Ability to start with only 1 state license, with opportunities for onsite work in the same practice in Florida.
  • Telerad Tools: Access to all telerad tools, including a US-based 24/7 call center, IT support, dedicated schedulers, and CME tracking.
  • Proprietary RIS Workflow System: Utilize our proprietary RIS workflow system designed for telerad, along with PowerScribe360 and Intelerad PACS.
  • AI-Enabled Practice: Leverage AI-enabled tools to ensure efficiency, including the ability to consult and communicate with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Teleradiology Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Radiology Interpretations: Provide accurate and timely interpretations of radiological images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasounds.
  • Report Generation: Generate comprehensive reports on radiological findings, including detailed descriptions and recommendations for further testing or treatment.
  • Collaboration with Clinicians: Collaborate with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss radiological findings and provide recommendations for patient care.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance activities, including peer review and quality control, to ensure high-quality radiological services.
  • Staying Current with Industry Developments: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in radiology, including new technologies and techniques.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Medical Degree: A medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution.
  • Radiology Residency: Completion of a radiology residency program or equivalent experience.
  • Licensure: Current medical licensure in at least one state.
  • Board Certification: Board certification in radiology or eligibility for certification.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex radiological images.
