The invites applications for a doctorally prepared faculty member with advanced practice certification to teach in both our Master of Science in Nursing and our Doctor of Nursing Practice Programs. The position is a full-time, 12-month position on the Clinical Teaching Track with expectations for teaching, scholarship, practice, and service as described by the College and University. This position requires national, advanced practice certification as a family nurse practitioner. Teaching responsibilities would include the graduate health assessment course, an on-campus weekly health assessment practice lab, and other graduate courses as assigned.

Job Duties:
Teach graduate students in an online education format and in on-campus practice labs Engage in an active program of research/scholarship Maintain clinical advanced practice nursing and academic expertise in the Primary Care Clinic at the Lane Center Select learning experiences and guide students in achieving desired outcomes Participate in the evaluation process of the program, students and faculty Assume faculty role in the guidance, advising and recruitment of students Participate in curriculum development Engage in activities that advance the mission and goals of the Department, College, and University Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of teaching and learning experiences required for delivery of the curriculum and as advised by the standards for professional nursing and accreditation

This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
What We Offer:
Salary Range: Generally starting at $98,000 - $110,500 per year
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate degree in nursing or related field (DNP or PhD) Master of Science degree in Nursing Current national, advanced practice certification as a family nurse practitioner Minimum of five years of practice experience as an APRN Minimum of three years of teaching/precepting experience in higher education Online learning/teaching experience Current, unrestricted RN and APRN licensure with prescriptive authority in the State of Colorado or eligible to obtain prior to start of employment

Physical Requirements:
