Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and maintain large-scale data pipelines to support business growth and data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value, data-driven solutions and drive business growth.
  • Work with multiple data sources to refresh and process data, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Develop and implement parsers, validators, transformers, and correlators to reformat, update, and improve data.
  • Provide L3 support for data-related issues and troubleshoot complex problems.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines to support business growth.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Technical background in software engineering, programming, database systems, and distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of transportation and operations space with the ability to identify high-opportunity areas and design approaches and solutions that generate and capture value.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of and experience with developing and operationalizing capacities and solutions involving under close to real-time high-volume streaming circumstances.
  • Proficient development skills with the ability to work at the code level and help troubleshoot hard-to-resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical projects, often working under close time requirements to deliver value.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with programming languages such as Scala, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of and experience with tools such as HDFS, Kafka, MySQL, Postgres, Cassandra, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies such as Terraform, YAML, JSON, and IaC.
  • Experience with data engineering tools such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, and Jupyter.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and data governance principles.
