Job Summary
We are looking for a part-time Customer Service Manager to join our Hospitality team, working approximately 20 hours per week, from 3 pm to 10 pm CST, Monday through Wednesday, with potential for additional hours as the company continues to grow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and hospitality, with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in modern technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to Blithequark guests, responding to their queries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and efficient manner.
 - Conduct guest screening to ensure safety and security, complying with Blithequark and property partner requirements.
 - Manage guest reservations, including booking suggestions, alterations, and cancellations.
 - Utilize digital communication systems to manage guest communications, including messages, emails, calls, and texts.
 - Address guest complaints, conducting research and negotiating solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
 - Troubleshoot maintenance and technology issues, lockouts, and other guest issues, collaborating with relevant stakeholders as needed.
 - Coordinate operational needs with Blithequark staff, including scheduling repairs and maintenance, and monitoring turnovers.
 - Serve as a point of contact for property partner communications, managing listing marketing and revisions as needed.
 - Analyze guest reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance the guest experience.
 - Manage social media and periodic public relations activities to promote Blithequark properties and services.
 
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field.
 - College diploma or equivalent.
 - Reliable smartphone, computer, and high-speed Wi-Fi connection at all times.
 - Ability to respond to messages within 5 minutes or less.
 - Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
 - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a positive attitude and exceptional customer service presence.
 - Proficiency in spreadsheets, word documents, and similar operational software.
 - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
 - Willingness to work 4 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
 - Ability to pass a background check and provide 2-3 references from past or current supervisors.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the short-term rental industry or a similar field.
 - Familiarity with property management software and technologies.
 - Certifications or training in customer service, hospitality, or a related field.
