Virtual Learning Specialist for Supplemental Support Program - Dayton, OH

VocoVision is looking for an experienced Special Education Teacher to provide virtual supplemental support services to students with diverse learning needs. Position Details Full-time position (37.5 hours weekly) K-12 students requiring supplemental support Caseload of approximately 50-60 students Focus on academic intervention, executive functioning, and learning strategy development Core Responsibilities Provide specialized virtual instruction in targeted academic areas based on IEP goals Design and implement evidence-based interventions for diverse learning needs Collaborate with general education teachers on appropriate accommodations and modifications Develop and maintain comprehensive IEPs and progress monitoring systems Create engaging, accessible virtual lessons addressing specific skill deficits Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on response data Teach executive functioning strategies and self-advocacy skills Facilitate regular communication with students, families, and educational teams Lead IEP meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary team members Provide consultation on universal design for learning in the general education setting Required Qualifications Master's degree in Special Education Valid Ohio Special Education teaching license Minimum of 2 years of experience in school-based special education Knowledge of evidence-based academic interventions and progress monitoring Experience with diverse learning profiles including learning disabilities, ADHD, and high-functioning autism Strong understanding of executive functioning supports and strategy instruction Excellent virtual teaching abilities and digital classroom management Demonstrated success in collaboration with general education teachers Technical Requirements Professional home office setup for effective virtual instruction Reliable high-speed internet connection Proficiency with digital learning platforms and accessibility features Experience with digital assessment and progress monitoring tools If interested, apply here or contact: Alex Gonzalez 470-900-4181 Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
