Job Summary

We're seeking highly skilled and dedicated professionals to join our team as Government Programs Customer Service Representatives. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be the face of blithequark, providing top-notch support to our members, clients, and providers through various channels. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own space while making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, and U.S. mail, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
  • Clearly and accurately convey eligibility, benefit, claim status, and payment information, addressing customer concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Identify the root cause of customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions within established timeframes and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist customers with grievance and claims appeals processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in our customer relationship management system, capturing all relevant details of customer interactions.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards, upholding the highest level of compliance and integrity.
  • Meet or exceed quality standards and call center metrics, driving continuous improvement and excellence in customer service.
  • Enter and adjust claims as required, ensuring seamless processing and resolution.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience in a business environment, preferably in a call center setting with experience handling Medicare and/or Medicaid-related inquiries.
  • Proficient in using personal computers and software applications, including Windows, to effectively assist customers.
  • Successful completion of customer service simulation, multitasking, and email composition assessments with minimum scores of 62, 65, and 62, respectively.
  • Ability to work an assigned eight-hour schedule, Monday through Friday, with start times as early as 7:55 a.m. and end times as late as 11:00 p.m.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dental benefits or healthcare organization.
  • Familiarity with government programs, such as Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
