About the Role: Customer Service Specialist II - Remote
As a Customer Service Specialist II at blithequark, you will be the frontline representative of our commitment to exceptional customer service. Working remotely, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls, responding to voicemails, and maintaining accurate records of interactions within our system.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls and voicemails on the provider relations line, addressing a range of inquiries including application status for provider enrollment, assistance with Medicaid provider numbers, and compliance reviews.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and care.
- Create accurate and detailed call logs in our system, summarizing contact with providers and applicants.
- Support team and business goals related to enrollment support and customer service, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed, such as document uploads, to ensure the smooth operation of our services.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you must possess a combination of experience, skills, and personal qualities that align with our customer service-focused culture.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of handling customer inquiries and resolving issues.
- A Bachelor's degree coupled with 2 years of paid experience, or 36 months of experience with a minimum of two years working with critical care providers, public health providers, or providers caring for vulnerable populations such as children, older adults, or persons with disabilities.
- At least one year of experience in provider monitoring, Medicaid or third-party payer provider billing, or provider training.
- Experience working in environments such as home health programs, community health programs, hospitals, or social service programs is highly valued.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet applications, with a strong foundation in computer literacy.
- The ability to exercise independent judgment based on policy and procedure, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- A strong work ethic that includes meeting deadlines and adhering to established standards.

Working Conditions and Logistics
