About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our passengers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting with their travel needs via phone, email, and chat platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Provide prompt and courteous assistance to passengers via inbound calls, emails, and chat messages, addressing inquiries regarding flight bookings, reservations, baggage, flight schedules, and other travel-related concerns.
 - Issue Resolution: Resolve customer concerns and complaints efficiently and effectively, investigating problems, providing accurate information, and offering appropriate solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
 - Booking Support: Assist customers with booking new flights, making changes to existing reservations, processing cancellations, and handling upgrades or seat assignments, guiding passengers through the booking process and ensuring accuracy of information entered into the system.
 - Flight Information: Provide real-time flight status updates, including delays, cancellations, gate changes, and boarding information, keeping passengers informed about any changes to their travel plans and assisting them in making alternative arrangements when necessary.
 - Sales and Promotions: Promote blithequark products, services, and loyalty programs to customers, identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products such as travel insurance, preferred seating, or premium amenities.
 - Technical Support: Troubleshoot technical issues related to the blithequark website, mobile app, or online booking tools, assisting customers with navigation, account login, password resets, and other technical inquiries to ensure a seamless user experience.
 - Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including notes on inquiries, resolutions, and follow-up actions taken, adhering to company policies and procedures for data entry, documentation, and reporting purposes.
 
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or degree preferred.
 - Previous customer service experience in a call center, hospitality, or airline industry preferred.
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
