About the Role

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service, support, and professionalism to our valued customers. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely and effective solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to general to moderately complex telephone calls, troubleshoot customer issues, and provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Utilize an automated system to answer telephone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and forward calls to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Research customer calls/inquiries and respond to appropriate parties in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Record calls in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) ticketing solution, resolve customer requests/inquiries, and update CRM history with results of inquiry.
  • Interface with team personnel, management, and customers to resolve customer service issues and provide support.
  • Conduct outbound calls to customers in response to customer direction or other business needs.
  • Respond to numerous phone inquiries daily, utilizing standard call-center technology, including telephones, email, and web browsers.
  • Assist callers in completing online applications, fill out timesheets, and adhere to privacy rules set forth by the programs we service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and policies as they apply to the various programs we service.
  • Report problems through an easy online system and respond to telephone inquiries within set time parameters.
  • Complete all assigned training as necessary and adhere to provided schedule.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one (1) year customer service experience required.
  • Experience working with computer software, customer relationship management tools, and telephone technology.
  • Experience working with and skilled in the use of help desk software.
  • Ability to utilize problem-solving skills in complex situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Download speeds of at least 60mbps and upload speed of at least 6mbps (verified via speedtest.net).

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and help desk tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Work Environment and Company Culture

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will work in a remote environment, with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. We require applicants within a 50-mile radius of our Sacramento, CA location to pick up equipment onsite, while those outside this radius will be mailed their equipment.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

To perform this job successfully, you will need to:

  • Possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an online computer terminal and other standard office equipment.
  • Have corrected vision within the normal range.
  • Have hearing within normal range (a device to enhance hearing may be provided if needed).
  • Be able to sit for prolonged periods throughout the workday, with occasional mobility required.
  • Wear a mask when in community with other employees (as recommended by CDC guidelines).
