Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk at Blithequark, you will be responsible for:
- Answering phone calls and greeting customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Entering data into our database systems with accuracy and efficiency
- Entering data provided directly by customers, ensuring that all information is complete and accurate
- Verifying data against original documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Retrieving data from database or electronic files as requested by management or other teams
- Sorting and organizing paperwork after data entry to ensure that it is properly archived and easily accessible
- Maintaining our filing system, ensuring that all documents are up-to-date and easily retrievable
- Performing other duties as required, including providing support to other teams and contributing to process improvements
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Data Entry Clerk at Blithequark, you will need:
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or receptionist, preferably in a remote or part-time work environment
- Accurate typing skills, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools, including MS Office Word, Excel, and other similar software
- Working knowledge of office equipment, including printers, scanners, and other related devices
- Basic knowledge of databases and data management systems
- Good command of English, both oral and written, with excellent customer service skills
