Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to work remotely with our team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining and updating our databases, providing administrative support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our services. Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing documentation for filing and associated correspondence, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Obtaining and verifying supporting information and documentation to ensure efficient administration of files.
  • Responding promptly to queries and requests from creditors and debtors, providing excellent customer service.
  • Liaising with the administration team to obtain information, resolve complex issues, and provide support.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM to extract file details and information, and performing various tasks within the software.
  • Preparing and reviewing files for completeness, following up on outstanding documents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaising with internal clients for clarification and issue resolution, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Organizing file documents in accordance with our naming protocols, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Performing calculations, such as income and surplus income obligations, and understanding relevant legal requirements of multiple provincial jurisdictions.
  • Conducting searches for insolvency, Personal Property Security Act registrations, house valuations, and computation of realizable value.
  • Creating documents required for signature, reviewing sign-up documents for accuracy and policy compliance, and filing documents with the Official Receiver.
  • Accurately transferring information from written and scanned records into Ascend, our internal software.
  • Maintaining client confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Liaising with external clients for clarification or outstanding documents, providing excellent customer service.
  • Electronic filing of statutory documents, preparing documents for DocuSign, and reviewing amended proposals.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experienced performing data entry with a proven high level of accuracy.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient technical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); able to learn computer software quickly.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be an asset.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills to speak and deal effectively with other staff members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Familiarity with debt solution services and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with Ascend or similar software.
