With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, you'll guide customers every step of the way, from online sales or appraisal to arranging finance applications and scheduling vehicle delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with inbound customers online and over the phone to understand their needs and preferences for their next car purchase.
- Utilize your knowledge of blithequark's inventory to guide customers towards vehicles that meet their needs.
- Provide support during every step of the car buying journey, ensuring a seamless transition from online to in-store purchasing.
- Mentor others as your skillset expands, contributing to the growth and development of the team.
- Achieve sales targets while maintaining an unwavering commitment to delivering an iconic customer experience.
- Acquire the Automotive Sales Persons License in specific states, which may require testing and travel.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and personal qualities. Here are the essential qualifications and requirements:
- Sales and customer service experience in an area such as retail is preferred.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, with a strong customer focus and good listening skills.
- A high level of self-motivation to achieve performance goals and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to learn and master new technologies.
- Open availability for shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays, with a flexible schedule that can adapt to the needs of the business.
- A hybrid role that requires working on-site one day per week, with a location within 60 miles or 1 hour of the Customer Experience Center (CEC).
- Minimum technology requirements, including a reliable internet service and speed.

Compensation and Benefits
As a Customer Service Consultant at blithequark, you'll receive a competitive hourly rate of $18.00 - $26.70, with the opportunity to earn a performance-based sales incentive in addition to your hourly rate. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
- Paid sick time, accrued on a per pay period basis.
- Vacation time, ranging from 80 hours to 200 hours per year, depending on years of continuous service.
- 8 hours of pay for each of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year, plus 1 floating holiday.
- Holiday Premium Pay for working on scheduled holidays.
