Job Overview
The Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative will be responsible for supporting providers who care for our members, providing responses to questions and resolving issues via phone call or concurrent chat. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position, with a schedule that includes working any 8-hour shift between 11:35 AM and 8:05 PM EST, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.
We offer 10 weeks of paid on-the-job training, with 100% attendance required and no PTO during training. Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as an advocate for providers, demonstrating accountability and ownership to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
 - Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals, including physician offices, clinics, and billing offices, via phone call or concurrent chat
 - Quickly and appropriately triage contacts from healthcare professionals, identifying and resolving issues in a efficient and effective manner
 - Research and dissect complex prior authorization and claim issues, taking appropriate steps to resolve identified issues and avoid repeat calls or messages
 - Collaborate effectively with multiple internal partners to ensure issues are resolved and thoroughly communicated to providers in a timely manner
 - Utilize strong multitasking skills to navigate multiple systems and extract necessary information to resolve and avoid issues across multiple lines of business
 - Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, assisting with navigation questions and selling the benefits of the tool to aid in faster resolution
 
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
 - Must be 18 years of age or older
 - 1 year of customer service experience, with a focus on analyzing and solving customer concerns
 - Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
 - Ability to type at a speed of 35-40 words per minute, with an accuracy of 90%
 - Ability to work any full-time, 8-hour shift between 11:35 AM and 8:05 PM EST, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a related environment, such as an office, call center, or customer service role, with a focus on using phones and computers as primary job tools
 - Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology
 
Telecommuting Requirements
- Reside within a 60-mile commutable distance of 5900 Parkwood Place, Dublin, OH 43016
 - Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure
 - Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
 - Must live in a location that can receive a blithequark-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
