About the Role
As a Remote Beauty Advisor at blithequark, you will be responsible for responding to client requests and inquiries via phone and chat, providing product information, resolving issues, and offering support and guidance to our clients. You will be the face of our brand, and your exceptional communication skills, positive attitude, and passion for delivering outstanding customer service will make a significant difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to client requests and inquiries via phone and chat, providing timely and effective solutions to their issues.
- Demonstrate high standards for quality service, ensuring that all client interactions are professional, courteous, and respectful.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, procedural information, and industry trends, assessing and applying this knowledge to improve client experiences.
- Collaborate with the quality and training team to self-manage performance expectations, maintain open communication lines with Team Lead, Quality Advocate, Trainer, and Manager for support and personal development.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, using our proprietary call center database (CSC) to document all client communications.
- Adhere to schedules, deadlines, and key performance indicators (KPIs), striving to exceed quality goals and KPIs as outlined by management.
- Communicate with clients in a proactive and professional manner across multiple communication channels, including phone, chat, and email, transitioning between channels as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a business or professional environment, preferably in the service industry.
- Comparable experience in an office environment is encouraged.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage workload efficiently and effectively.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality client service under high volume.
- Commitment to client service and high-quality standards in grammar, punctuation, and written business acumen.
- Professional, upbeat, and engaging oral and written communication style.
- Ability to develop relationships with clients, even in difficult situations, and advise and counsel them in a quick and efficient manner.
- Must be computer literate and internet savvy, with experience in windows-based applications, specifically client relationship management tools (e.g., Instant Service).
- Excellent data entry skills, with a minimum of 45-55 words per minute.
- Must be flexible and able to work in a dynamic shift environment, including weekends and evening shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Prior customer service or troubleshooting experience.
- Experience in the beauty and cosmetics industry.
- Live chat experience.
- Call center experience.
- Spanish language skills.
Technology Requirements:
To perform this role, you will need to have the following technology:
- Windows-based computer (MacBook and Chromebooks are not allowed).
- Dual Core 1.2 GHz or better processor.
- 40 GB or more of available space and 100 GB or more of total space.
- 8 GB of RAM or better.
- Windows 10 Professional operating system.
- Dual monitors with 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) screen resolution or 1920 x 1080 (Full HD or 1080p).
- Hard-wired internet connection with a minimum of 45 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed.
What We Offer:
At blithequark, we offer a competitive hourly rate of $18.00, with the opportunity to earn a bonus based on performance. You will also have access to paid training, which will start on October 18th, and will include:
- New Hire Orientation: Friday, October 18th, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST.
- Training Schedules: Tuesday, October 22nd - Saturday, October 26th.
- Nesting on Week 2: Will be the same as your production schedule.
