Implementation & Support Lead – Data Integration & Metadata (US, 1099 Contract-to-Hire)

Role Description
We are seeking an Implementation & Support Lead – Data Integration & Metadata for a contract-to-hire position based in San Ramon, CA (on-site only). The role involves leading software implementations, overseeing SLA-driven support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include coordinating ERP/data integration processes, troubleshooting issues, guiding metadata governance, and acting as the primary U.S. point of contact in collaboration with offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead end-to-end OnCoor platform implementations.
· Manage support activities, SLAs, and escalations.
· Oversee data integration across ERP systems (SAP, Salesforce, etc.).
· Guide metadata management, governance, and certifications.
· Act as the U.S. customer contact, coordinating with offshore teams.
· Document processes, templates, and contribute to the knowledge base.
Requirements
· 6–10 years of overall ERP/data integration experience.
· 3–5 years in customer support (SLA-driven environments).
· 1–2 years of project management exposure (supporting client/internal PMs).
· Strong metadata management & governance background.
· Proven leadership in implementation and support delivery.
· Familiar with data quality, MDM, and reference data.
· Excellent customer-facing communication.
· Prior collaboration with offshore/global teams.
· Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
· Bay Area based (San Ramon, CA – on-site only, no remote).
Preferred
· SAP (S/4HANA, ByDesign, Business One).
· Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
· SLA-driven support frameworks.
· Consulting / System Integrator (SI) background.
