Responsibilities
As a Distribution Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a prompt, courteous, and effective manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
- Order Processing: Process and input customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
- Inventory Management: Produce stock reports to check for product availability and provide necessary information for customer work orders.
- Shipping and Logistics: Coordinate special and last-minute shipping requests with the Traffic and Operations Departments, expediting orders as necessary.
- Communication: Provide follow-up with other departments to ensure service standards are being met and communicate customer feedback to management.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including damage records, back-order logs, and paperwork associated with orders.
- Problem-Solving: Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes.
- Procedure Manual: Maintain a current and accurate procedure manual, detailing the processing requirements for each account.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications, and basic typing skills.
- Shipping Software: Familiarity with shipping software systems, including UPS and Federal Express.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in varying facility conditions and irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
