Our National Campaigns Unit works closely with internal clients to deliver critical information to shareholders, ensuring that they are informed and engaged. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in this process, providing support to shareholders and helping to resolve any issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and other communications from shareholders, providing accurate and timely information about company campaigns and proxy meetings.
- Engage in outbound calls to shareholders, delivering key messages and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve shareholder inquiries and issues, ensuring that all communications are accurate and consistent.
- Provide support to shareholders during contested proxy meetings, addressing their concerns and directing them to relevant resources.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions, staying up-to-date on company campaigns and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of shareholder interactions, using this information to inform future communications and campaigns.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 6 months or more of customer service, data entry, or related experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to read and correct grammar.
- Good speaking voice, with the ability to communicate effectively with shareholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment.
- Familiarity with shareholder communications or a related field.
- Experience working with complex software systems or technology.
Equipment Requirements
- MacBook (not preferred, but must have a current operating system) or Windows (10 or 11) – no Lenovo, Chrome, etc.
- USB headsets (no wireless).
- Dual monitors will be beneficial, but not required.
- Internet speed: 50 download/ 10 upload.
- Ability to come off mute when called on, with materials open and participation in the chat when asked to complete a task.
