Job Summary and Key Responsibilities
As an Adjunct Faculty member in Design and Merchandising, you will be responsible for teaching studio, lecture, and/or practicum courses, employing a variety of strategies to foster student visual communication development and business acumen related to product styling for digital commerce. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Teaching required number of credit hours per quarter based on your contract
- Planning and providing instructional experiences that reflect an understanding of the philosophy, objectives, and curriculum of the program
- Evaluating student achievement of curricular objectives/outcomes
- Maintaining communication with the program director regarding any course or student issues
- Performing other similar duties as assigned
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- Knowledge of product styling for digital commerce
- Combined knowledge of photography and merchandising
- Teaching experience
