Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development
  • Perform light house cleaning duties related to the children's care, such as laundry, meal preparation, and tidying up play areas
  • Transport children to and from school, daycare, after-school activities, and other appointments as needed
  • Assist with online learning and homework, providing guidance and support when required
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, taking into account any dietary restrictions or allergies
  • Help with bedtime and morning routines, including showering, dressing, and getting the children ready for the day
  • Take COVID-19 preventative measures and practice social distancing when interacting with the children and other family members
  • Develop and maintain a positive, respectful relationship with the children, and communicate effectively with the family regarding their needs and daily activities

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid phone number and be available for interviews and communication
  • Be able to pass a standard background check and provide references
  • Have a valid Social Security Number and be eligible to work in the United States
  • Be a pleasant, sincere, and hardworking individual who is committed to providing exceptional care

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience working as a nanny or in a related childcare role
  • Early childhood education or a related field of study
  • CPR and first aid certification
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
  • Experience with special needs children or infants
