Position Purpose
The Sales Manager is a critical role in our organization, responsible for creating a high-performing selling culture and driving business results through store connectivity, team development, and customer service excellence. As a Sales Manager, you'll lead a team of commissioned Sales Consultants to achieve sales targets, build relationships with store management and associates, and deliver world-class customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, Coach, and Manage: Recruit, coach, manage, and retain a team of commissioned Sales Consultants. Provide ongoing training and development to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
 - Analyze and Prioritize Business Metrics: Understand, analyze, and prioritize business metrics to drive sales growth and achieve business targets. Develop and implement action plans to improve performance and address areas for improvement.
 - Drive Customer Service: Respond to escalated customer inquiries and concerns, and leverage relationships with installation partners to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
 - Drive Lead Generation: Drive store connectivity and build relationships with store partners and associates. Train store partners and associates on our products and service offerings.
 - Drive Store Connectivity: Build and maintain relationships with store management and associates, and continually update them on our product offerings and promotions.
 
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Age and Work Eligibility: Must be 18 years of age or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
 - Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
 - Work Experience: 3+ years of sales leadership experience in a retail or related industry.
 - Leadership Experience: 3+ years of experience leading a team of sales professionals.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Experience in the home improvement or retail industry.
 - Sales Experience: Experience in sales or sales leadership.
 - Certifications: Relevant certifications or training in sales, leadership, or customer service.
