Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Senior Logistics Content Writer to plan and write various types of content for our web pages, articles, blogs, case studies, eBooks, press releases, and social media messaging. As a Senior Content Creator, you'll report to our Director of Marketing and play a critical role in producing marketing copy that showcases our products, industry insights, and thought leadership. Your goal will be to deliver high-quality content that adds value to our target marketplace, while driving engagement and conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage a comprehensive content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely publication of content across all channels.
• Conduct industry research on e-commerce, omnichannel fulfillment, supply chain, freight, and transportation, staying up-to-date on the latest trends and developments.
• Write, edit, and publish well-structured blogs, eBooks, case studies, articles, and social media copy that resonates with our target audience.
• Identify customer needs and pain points, delivering content that addresses their concerns and provides valuable insights.
• Interview industry professionals and incorporate their views and quotes into final copy, adding depth and credibility to our content.
• Identify co-marketing content opportunities with partners, including blog swaps and co-branded content.
• Write and update website copy as needed, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all channels.
• Conduct keyword research and apply SEO guidelines to optimize content for search engines.
• Accurately source all research conducted, using cross-linking, in-text citations, and footnotes to maintain credibility.

Essential Qualifications

• Deep industry knowledge within the 3PL/logistics space, with a strong understanding of the competitive landscape.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content at a fast pace.
• Experience working cross-functionally within an organization, collaborating with external and internal partners.
• Highly detailed-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage a robust content calendar.
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously with little guidance, while maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.

Preferred Education and Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a content creator, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• BS/BA degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a relevant field.
• Proven work experience producing up to 8,000 words of content per week.
• Portfolio of published content in e-commerce, logistics, freight, transportation, and omnichannel fulfillment.
• Experience with project management tools, such as Monday.com.
• Experience with internal/external communication platforms, such as Slack and WebEx.
