Our mission is to help authors connect with their audiences meaningfully. Job Description We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Editor to join our dynamic Editorial Department. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative professional experienced in the editorial process, skilled in working closely with authors to refine their manuscripts, and enthusiastic about literature in all its forms. Key Responsibilities • Manuscript Development: Collaborate with authors in the revision process, providing constructive feedback to enhance the narrative and structure of their work. • Editorial Management: Oversee the editorial production pipeline, ensuring projects remain on schedule and maintain high-quality standards. • Content Strategy: Contribute to the overall content strategy and identify emerging voices and trends in literature to include in our catalog. • Author Relations: Foster strong relationships with authors, acting as a key point of contact throughout the publication process. • Market Research: Stay informed about publishing trends and reader preferences to guide editorial decisions. Qualifications • Experience in English, Literature, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • Minimum of 2 years of editorial experience in a publishing environment. • Strong understanding of narrative structure, voice, and character development. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to give and receive feedback effectively. • A deep passion for literature and commitment to promoting diverse voices.
