About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Fitness Program Coordinator to support our corporate client sites in Miami and Homestead, FL. As a Fitness Program Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to provide a wide range of services to improve the health and well-being of the entire employee population. This comprehensive health and fitness position will involve the development and implementation of wellness programs and challenges, wellness presentations, health screenings, fitness center management, and much more. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement wellness programs and challenges to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles
  • Deliver wellness presentations and workshops to educate employees on various health topics
  • Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify health risks and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Manage fitness centers, including equipment maintenance, staffing, and program development
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their health and wellness needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Lead, coordinate, and deliver effective programs, including budgeting, marketing, and promotions
  • Facilitate team and customer meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Create motivation in others to adopt healthy behaviors and lifestyles

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology, or a related discipline
  • 1+ years of related experience in fitness, wellness, or a related field
  • Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Team skills, processes, and communication
  • Organizational skills and processes
  • Ability to effectively facilitate team and customer meetings
  • Ability to create motivation in others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years of related experience in fitness, wellness, or a related field
  • Certifications in fitness, wellness, or a related field (e.g., CPT, ATC)
  • Experience in leading, coordinating, and delivering effective programs, including budgeting, marketing, and promotions
  • Experience in managing fitness centers, including equipment maintenance, staffing, and program development
